Peter Kazacos is On Demand at Neller Peter Kazacos was the founder of KAZ Group and in a nice piece of serendipity, the original owner of Neller’s KAZ production data centre in South Australia. Peter sold KAZ Group to Telstra in 2004, making Peter’s appointment a welcome return to his association with Neller. "We are delighted that Peter has accepted the position of non-executive Chairman", said Neller Managing Director, David Page. "Not only is Peter very highly respected within the industry, his vision and dedication to the on-demand deployment of software goes to the heart of Neller's strategic direction, making him the best possible person for this role. Peter's input will be extremely valuable as we consider the various options for broadening our range of services and extend our geographic reach with the highly successful Preceda On Demand Payroll and HR system." A 30-year IT industry veteran, Kazacos was the recipient of the inaugural Australian Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2001 and was inducted into the IT and T Hall of Fame in 2004. Until recently he was also Chairman of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), one of the peak industry bodies for the IT sector. Peter was involved in the early development of LANSA while working for Aspect Computing, a company he later acquired and is well versed in the strengths of the IBM System I platform.
