Neller's Outsourcing Partner, WageLink wins SA State Award

Brad Lonsdale from WageLink (formerly Payright) was recently awarded the SA State Award for Payroll Specialists from TAPS (The Association of Payroll Specialists) during National Payroll Week. WageLink is one of Neller's Outsourcing Partners in South Australia. Brad Lonsdale, the co-founder of WageLink, together with his business partner Chris Burke, started WageLink in 1996 as a payroll outsourcing business for small to medium sized companies throughout Australia. Chris Burke is also from a Payroll background. "Both Chris and I are very proud of what we started and where we sit now. WageLink has approximately 250 clients Australia-wide and we are excited about signing on with Neller as a Preceda Outsourcing Business Partner," says Brad.

Brad now lives in Adelaide, SA, having moved from Victoria in 1993. Brad himself has a very long history in Payroll. In the 30 years that he has been in Payroll, he has seen many positive changes within the Industry such as Cash to EFT, RDO introduction and the involvement with evolving Payroll and HR systems.

Brad was first introduced to Neller in 1973 where he commenced as a Payroll clerk with Ogden Industries (Lockwood Locks) in 1973, and later became the Payroll Manager. They used their own in-house data entry system. "I saw the introduction of Neller Systems in 1985. They were very happy with Neller and are still using their product."

"As I reflect over the past 30 years it has been a fascinating journey in this unique industry. I have gained some good friends whom I have come to depend upon. Some of these people have become leaders in their fields but are still very much involved in the Industry and I did not realize that through this journey Neller have been there from the start!!"

Brad & Chris made the decision to become Neller's Outsourcing Partners after researching the product, culture and business acumen. "The Preceda product is very strong for all different sized companies. They continuously develop their product on advice from their clients and teamed with their professional staff, we agreed to sign on".

Brad's personal goals over the next few years is to get more involved with TAPS and give opportunities to trainees in the Payroll business the same way he was given.

'I wish to give younger people a career option that is recognized and can bring some great rewards,' says Brad.
