Breakfast Briefings - Eggs Benedict Cooked to Perfection7 September, 2004
August and September saw Neller complete another round of its successful Breakfast Briefings in the major cities of Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. The full-day event was the brainchild of our Business Development Manager, Robert Hill and our Managing Director, David Page. The first Briefing was held end 2001, and since then we have had clients coming back for more. Designed mainly for prospective clients, this year’s Breakfast Briefings attracted over 200 attendees eager to hear how Neller solutions could improve their company’s competitiveness. Over a hot breakfast of pastries, eggs benedict and fresh fruit platters, attendees were able to view a detailed demonstration of Neller’s Preceda PEOPLE solution. Discussions highlighted how clients might leverage the latest product and service developments including Preceda TIME, Neller’s award interpretation, and time and attendance tool integrated with Preceda PEOPLE. The highlight of the event was a presentation by one of Neller’s clients recounting their experience with Neller products and services. At the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne, Megan Hosking from SKF told us how Neller saved their Human Resource department from being bogged down in paperwork and traditional methods. Megan herself comes from a non-HR background and couldn’t believe just how simple and easy Preceda People was to use. Soon after Preceda People was implemented, SKF decided to install Self-Service for their employees. They received a huge response from their staff, who said it was so convenient to access their information, be it printing out payslips or applying for annual leave. This in turn freed up Megan’s department from everyday requests and allowed them to concentrate on other functions. Megan certainly convinced the crowd that Neller had simplified their Human Resource processes and turned around the whole department.
